BARN Tuition Assistance Application 


Apply for tuition assistance using the form below before registering for your desired class. Applications submitted after registration cannot be considered.

As part of our core value of inclusivity, BARN maintains a tuition assistance fund to make classes and events accessible to members and guests. 

How Assistance Works


Tuition assistance is offered in 10% increments. Students are encouraged to contribute a minimum of either 20% of the total registration price or the full materials fee, whichever is greater. Please apply regardless of how much you are able to contribute.


How to Apply


Submit the form below at least 10 days before your class starts (earlier is better). We will process your request within 3 business days. If assistance is awarded, you will receive a confirmation email with:


  • The amount BARN will apply toward your registration fee
  • Your remaining balance
  • A discount code to use during checkout


Your discount code is valid only for the specific class requested. If that class fills before you register, the code remains valid if a spot opens through the waitlist.


Note: We cannot guarantee review of applications submitted fewer than 10 business days before the class start date.


Annual Limit and Eligibility


Students may receive up to $900 in tuition assistance per calendar year, based on the class start date. For example, if you apply in 2024 for a class beginning in 2025, the assistance counts toward your 2025 limit. These policies apply to all applicants regardless of BARN membership status. The BARN program manager may grant exceptions as needed. View our full tuition assistance policy.
