About

BARN members: $27 (1 session)
Non-members: $30

This class is the first stop on your way to artistic expression through beaded jewelry making. We’ll discuss design, style, stringing material, beads, tools, and finishing techniques. In this class, you’ll design and complete a necklace and bracelet using flexible wire and various beads of your choice.

Beginners are welcome, including teens 14 years old and older. Please bring a $15 materials fee, payable to the instructor at the class. The studio will have all the  tools needed, but please bring your own if you have them. Bring your own beads. Beads will also be available for purchase if you need them.

INSTRUCTOR: Amy Margaret Kapphan has a bachelor of fine arts degree in metal design from the University of Washington in Seattle. She taught jewelry making at Beads of Bainbridge in Winslow and various other bead stores. Her jewelry is sold online at amymargaret.com.
