Tuesday evenings, 1/27 to 2/17.

This class is part 1 of the 2 part beginning metal jewelry skills series.  You will learn to cut, file, solder and form metal to make jewelry. Textures, rivets, studio setup, safety and tool buying will be covered. Students will make a copper pin.  

No experience is necessary. 

A $25 materials & studio fee is payable to the instructor at the first class.

INSTRUCTOR: Jane Martin has a bachelor of fine arts degree from University of the Arts (Philadelphia College of Art) in Philadelphia, PA. She has taught jewelry making at Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle, for the Seattle Metals Guild, and the Bainbridge Island parks department. Her jewelry is shown at Facèré Jewelry Art Gallery in Seattle.
