Do you want to learn your way around an oven? Maybe you already love to bake and want to explore new methods or share ideas with friends? This class will help you learn basic, yet important, baking techniques. We'll cover pie crust, yeast breads, cake and more. With these skills, you can go far!

We'll work through variations and other yummy things related to these techniques. We'll have lunch together and take home some treats, as well as a recipe book that we put together in class.

INSTRUCTOR: Anne Wilhoit is an educator and a volunteer with Sound Food and BARN. She runs the Small Potatoes cooking blog. She's interested in connecting people with their food sources and promoting hands on skills.
