About

Sick of eating at the dining hall? Hit your limit on pizza and Lucky Charms? No oven? On a tight budget? This class will focus on making cost-effective snacks/meals that can be easily prepared in a dorm or off-campus living situation. You'll also get advice about what equipment to have and safely store on hand in your dorm or shared house/apartment. In each class, students will cook together and finish up with a small meal to enjoy in class or take home.

In each class we will make up a quick and easy snack and then we'll focus on a specific item that you'll be likely to find in your collegiate culinary travels.

Our focus will be on the ubiquitous ramen cup. We'll deconstruct it and evaluate it for all of its benefits, then we will reconstruct it, sprucing it up along the way.
