Island-based painter and printmaker Diane Crago offers step by step private instruction in a small group setting. Class runs four consecutive Friday afternoons.  Learn to mix colors confidently in multiple media, expressing your color visions with confidence and verve.  Diane will cover color mixing, color theory, and exciting ways to bring a solid knowledge of color manipulation into current creative endeavors or new ones we begin together.  

This class is a perfect “101” class for students who are currently printmakers or painters wanting to bring their work to the next level of sophistication.  It is also an excellent preparation for students who would like to take Diane's “Intro to Realistic Painting,” offered at BARN in August. Students will produce finished artworks using printmaking techniques, painting and drawing techniques, exploring new media in the process.

• A materials fee of $35 is included in the class fee.
• Registration will close on June 28th so that materials can be ordered.

Instructor:

Diane Crago received her degree in Fine Art from University of Washington.  She has taught art for 45 years, most recently painting classes for employees at Microsoft on the Redmond campus, and for the Experimental College at U.W. She has shown her work internationally, and loves teaching small groups while retaining the private class experience.  She specializes in teaching the techniques shown on her website www.dianecrago.com.
