You'll take home a pint of each, but the bulk of our bounty will be distributed by Helpline House. Many of the folks who shop at the food bank at Helpline House are thrilled to take home ready-to-eat meals.
We will make use of the season’s bounty, and include both vegetarian and meat recipes.
Helpline House is a nonprofit organization that provides social services to Bainbridge Island residents. The organization offers a variety of services, including a food bank, financial assistance, and counseling. Helpline House is free of charge to anyone in need, regardless of income.
BARN’s kitchen facility regularly uses ingredients on the FDA’s major allergens list. This class uses milk (butter), eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soybeans, and sesame.
