About
Learn and practice crochet amigurumi techniques while making a stuffed snowman. Amigurumi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures. Some of the techniques you'll learn include:
- Making a "magic circle" to start a project in the round
- Working spiral single crochet in the round
- Increasing and decreasing with single crochet
- Pom-pom creation (if the beanie is chosen for the hat)
The body of the snowman is worked entirely in single crochet from the bottom up. The snowman will be decorated with a scarf and hat (your choice of a beanie or top hat) created with a variety of stitches including back loop only and front loop only crochet.
