About
"Opulent" will be the word of the day as we embellish masks to be part of Fishline's fundraiser auction gala.
This event will be in the Great Room on BARN's upper level.
About this Event
Do you love bling, the shinier the better? Then join us in the Fiber Studio for this community service project embellishing Venetian lace masks to be auctioned at Fishline’s fundraising gala in August.
Prior to this decorating day, Fiber Studio volunteers will have prepared lace masks on our embroidery machine. And at this event, we’ll be pulling out the beads, sequins, feathers, charms, and ribbon to add lots and lots of flash.
All are welcome! No special skills are needed, just bring your willingness to let your imagination run wild while you glue, sew, and decorate in service to Fishline. Come for the whole time if you can, or just a couple of hours. We’ll be grateful for whatever time you can offer.
Fishline is a North Kitsap hub providing food and access to resources. It was established in 1967. The embellished masks we make will be part of their annual fundraising gala.
