About

This is the first phase of our Writing Coach series and is focused on helping writers move from a loose idea to a well-organized story blueprint. You’ll clarify your purpose and goals, shape your story concept, and learn how to turn inspiration into a workable plan by working with writing coach Chrystal Street. The class emphasizes clear structure and intentional decision-making, giving writers the tools needed to stay focused, motivated, and consistent .
Writers lay the groundwork for their book by developing compelling characters, defining story arcs, identifying major turning points, and outlining their plot. Each week combines guided assignments with personalized feedback, covering everything from publishing pathways to tone, voice, and pacing. By the end of this phase, you’ll have a solid story blueprint, a drafted scene, and the confidence to move forward into the drafting process with clarity and momentum.
