About
Do you want to edit videos like a pro… on your phone? Modern mobile devices are like having a video studio in your pocket or in the palm of your hands.
In this two-day intensive class, we will take footage that you already have or footage that you will acquire and turn it into a work of cinematic art using nothing but your iPhone, iPad, Android phone or tablet. This is an introductory level class going over the gear, apps, and rudimentary editing skill. You’re probably not going to win an Oscar for editing, but you will walk away knowing how to get footage into an editing app and export it out for people to see.
This class is for seasoned pros, enthusiasts, or anyone who just wants to learn how to edit their mobile phone video... for film, video tutorials or your latest family vacation video.

Instructor Bio:
Courtney G. Jones is a 30 year veteran of the film & television industry who has been an advocate for the kind of accessibility mobile filmmaking brings to creators for several years. Not only does Courtney serve as Head of Development for Steve Zahn & Rick Gomez’s company, Macaroni Art Productions, but he has produced and directed feature films, commercials, documentaries, and series… some of which have been shot on mobile. Mr. Jones brings a wealth of technical and creative know-how to the classroom.
Courtney’s main goal with teaching mobile content creation is to show that anyone can make something amazing with the technology that is in their pocket.
When Courtney is not writing, producing, filming, editing or teaching, he’s typically daydreaming about flying, living on a boat, or trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
