The Ham SIG (Special Interest Group) is open to newly licensed amateur radio operators (and OT/old timers alike),  those who are interested in becoming hams and the radio curious.

Each month there will be a different radio-related topic.  A presentation will be followed by a discussion and Q&A.

November topic - Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) is HOT!

Description: Digital Mobile Radio or DMR is the largest digital mode in ham radio and growing. DMR offers a feature rich experience at a lower cost as compared to other digital modes. One of the largest factors behind it’s popularity is the open standard it follows allowing many radio manufacturers to make products. Come to this short presentation to learn why you might want to join the DMR mode.
