**This workshop will be conducted via live streaming with Zoom..**

Explore this staple of bead weaving ~ peyote stitch! Great for beginners ~ satisfying for everyone!  Peyote stitch is one of the most versatile and popular basic bead weaving stitches. This class will review beading lingo, tools, and practices as well as introduce participants to "odd count" peyote stitch. Students will create a bead woven section that will be the foundation for an artisan bracelet bar, add a gorgeous crystal embellishment and finish with a magnetic clasp. The end result will be a personal masterpiece! 

Students will need to supply scissors and round nose pliers.

  •  Registration will close on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.
  • Registration for this class will close on so that kits can be assembled and mailed in a timely manner. Please verify your mailing address when you register. Please note that requests for credits or refunds will not be accepted after Wednesday, June 8th.
  • There is a $25 materials fee plus $4 for shipping included in the price of the class.

Instructor Bio:

Chris Eisenberg discovered beading while recovering from an accident and the resulting traumatic brain injury.  Beading was intensive therapy for Chris and has been medically credited for helping restore significant brain function.  Chris holds a PhD in classical piano performance and opera direction from the University of Northern Colorado and is currently on the faculty at Central Washington University in Ellensburg WA as a performance coach and collaborator.  She has previously taught art workshops at the Autumn Artist Retreat and in the Iron Mountain Arts studio near Port Gamble.
