Bobbin Lace Demo
Do you love lace?
Find out how to make lace by hand. Bobbin lacemaking or “pillow lace” has been a passion of the artist, Heathere Cericola, since 1992 when she first started taking lacemaking classes in New York. Lacemaking is still popular in Belgium and other European countries. Laces are recognized by the region in which they were created.
Pattern books in several languages will be available. Samples of various types of laces will be on display, as well as the tools used in this fascinating fiber art. View a demonstration of bobbin lacemaking. Try your hand at a beginning piece!
