Focused Open Studio for Lapidary in BARN’s fully-equipped Jewelry and Fine Metals Studio provides BARN members and the jewelry community a collaborative environment to pursue self-directed work, whether it’s to finish projects from classes or to work on independent projects. This is not a class and no formal instruction will be given. Please see details below.

A trained safety monitor is always on duty.

Details:

  • Prerequisite: This open studio is for students who have completed an Intro to Lapidary class. Please check your BARN account to ensure you have completed this prerequisite by viewing the link for "Registrations and events" in your profile. 
  • To get the most out of this lapidary open studio, it is recommended to bring a selection of stones in different phases so you an easily make use of and share the equipment.
