This beginner-friendly class is designed for people with little or no prior experience using AI. We will introduce you to OpenAI’s tools with ChatGPT.

The goal is to help you get comfortable with the basics:

• Creating a free account.
• Downloading the app if you choose.
• Exploring the web interface.
• Understanding AI strengths.

We'll practice a few simple real-world uses such as brainstorming, writing, planning, and learning. You'll leave with a working account, familiarity with both the web and mobile experience, a handful of useful starter prompts, and the tools to continue exploring on your own.

Bring your laptop should you choose to create a free account and walk through some practical uses during the session.
