About

Potato dumplings, known as "gnocchi di patate," are a favorite from northern Italy.

In this class, learn the art of shaping gnocchi into the signature bite-sized pieces. You'll also prepare two crowd-pleasing sauces.

On the menu:

  • Gnocchi di patate (potato dumplings)

  • Butter and sage sauce

  • Gorgonzola cheese sauce

BARN’s kitchen facility regularly uses ingredients on the FDA’s major allergens list. This class uses: milk (butter, cheese), eggs, wheat.

 

 

Details

A materials fee of $25, included in the cost of the class, covers everything you need. 

Project

You'll have the opportunity to taste the gnocchi and take home two portions of what you've crafted during class. 

Class Policies

  • Ages 14 and up are welcome.
  • You must wear closed-toe shoes to class.
  • Each participant needs to be registered for the class (no drop ins).
Instructor
Giovanni Strohmenger

Giovanni Strohmenger was born in Milano, Italy. He has traveled and lived in numerous countries since the age of 18. From an early age he has enjoyed working with his hands and making things. His professional life spans from the culinary industry to construction and jewelry making. At BARN Giovanni has found the perfect place to follow his creative passions by being active in several studios. Giovanni enjoys volunteering as a teacher in Culinary Arts and the Fiber Arts studio, where he spends the bulk of his time, when not busy in the Woodshop.
