Have you recently taken a BARN enameling class and want to finish some projects? Then this guided practice studio time is for you!

This is a great opportunity for students to finish independent projects with questions and guidance offered by an instructor.

Details:

  • Prerequisite: This guided open studio is for students who have recently completed a Try It! Enameling class or Intro to Enameling. To sign up you must use the registration code that was emailed to you in a previous email.
  • To get the most out of this class, it is recommended to prepare your metal in advance so you can focus on sifting techniques and kiln use.
  • $10 Enamel consumables materials fee is included in your tuition.
  • If minimum enrollment of 3 students has not been met, BARN reserves the right to cancel the class.
  • Due to the safety requirements for using dry enamel, Enameling is not offered during regular open studio time.
  • BARN is practicing safety measures for the health and well-being of all participants, in accordance with state and CDC guidelines. Overall BARN safety policies are here. Masks inside BARN are required.
  • Please wear closed-toe shoes. Wear hearing protectors when warranted and safety glasses; bring your own or use BARN's. Tie back long hair. Avoid loose-fitting clothing and jewelry; roll up sleeves.
  • Tuition assistance is available. Click here to fill out our simple application.
Students please bring:
  1. Any current projects from previous classes you are working on and want to finish.
  2. Design questions, procedure & techniques questions.
