This is a chance to expand your printmaking skills and increase your confidence under the guidance of an expert teacher. The focus of the class will be on printing techniques and best practices, as well as on the reconstruction of prints you’ve created in the past. It is a chance to work on an ongoing project, learn from and be around other artists having fun, or start up a new printmaking challenge under the guidance of the instructor.

There are no studio equipment certifications during guided open studios. To be certified for use of equipment at the studio you should attend a regular open studio. 

Details

Bring your own materials (inks, collage papers and/or old prints), buy or use free supplies found in the studio. 

Prerequisites

You must have taken Print & Book Studio Orientation, and be certified to use a Takach etching press at the studio.
