Take your skills to the next level with Guided Studio Practice for Beading!

This is a great opportunity for students to work on independent projects with questions and guidance offered by an instructor.  You can finally finish those projects you have set aside because you have questions on how to proceed or maybe you need a refresher on a particular skill.  Get tips and tricks, advice and encouragement, as well as technical demonstrations during this class.

Details:

  • Prerequisite: This class is for students who have previously completed a jewelry studio beading class at BARN.
  • The instructor will have additional beading supplies on hand for purchase.  Please bring cash or check made out to BARN.
  • Please wear closed-toe shoes. Wear hearing protectors when warranted and safety glasses; bring your own or use BARN's. Tie back long hair. Avoid loose-fitting clothing and jewelry; roll up sleeves.

  • Students please bring:
  1. Any current projects you are working on and want to finish
  2. Design questions, any questions on previously learned beading skills
  3. Your extra beading materials from your previously taken class

Instructor Bio:

Chris Eisenberg discovered beading while recovering from an accident and the resulting traumatic brain injury. Beading was her therapy and credits it for helping her become whole again. Chris has a doctorate in classical piano performance from the University of Northern Colorado and am a performance coach and collaborator at Central Washington University. She has previously taught workshops at the Autumn Artist Retreat and in the Iron Mountain Arts studio near Port Gamble.
