Watch Handwork Week participants pour molten bronze! In the first few days of Handwork in the Foundry: Cast Bronze Bell, students will use prepared patterns to form molds in green sand (an environmentally safe mixture of fine sand, clay, and water). Then, red-hot, molten bronze will be poured in these prepared molds. You're invited to watch!

Details

  • Only six spots are available, so don't wait to register.
  • Parking is limited at the foundry.

Class Policies

  • Wear closed-toe shoes.
  • Wearing natural-fiber clothing and long pants is recommended. 
  • Ages 14 and up are welcome.
