This one-day workshop is a continuation of the Beginning Bookmaking class held on April 2nd. Students will complete the multiple section book begun in the Beginning Bookmaking class. We will make a second multiple-section book with a different sewing structure. Book cover material will be provided but if you have a special material you want to use, bring it to class.


Details:

  • Prerequisite: Beginning Bookmaking or other bookbinding experience. Please login to your BARN account, click on your profile name and check the link "My event registrations" to ensure you have completed these classes.
  • Registration will close on Thursday, May 19th at 4:30 pm.
  • Please bring a bag lunch. We have a refrigerator and microwave located on the lower level near the Print & Book arts studio.
  • A $10 materials fee is included in the price of the class.

Instructor Bio:
Carolina Veenstra is a book artist as well as a master book conservator and binder. Her work can be seen at caveenstra.com, where beautiful books vie with incredibly crafted boxes.
