About

In this class we will cover several aspects of tasting beer. We’ll start by learning about the basic ingredients of beer and the flavors they contribute. Next, we’ll practice proper tasting techniques to get the most out of our assessment of the beer. We’ll then apply that technique to several popular styles of beer to learn about their flavor profiles. Finally, we’ll also taste some beer which has been intentionally spiked with flavors associated with production errors, spoilage, and other fun and funky scenarios! This class is appropriate for a range of learners, with more advanced concepts broken down into terms that absolute beginners will understand.
