About

Food photos on social media, certainly a modern take on traditional still life photography, can spread culinary wonders around the world. Learn how to get shots that grab attention!
This is part of our “Introduction to Food Photography” series, which explores the art of capturing mouth-watering food imagery from the basics of DSLR (Digital Single-Lens Reflex) cameras and iPhone photography, to styling and composition. You begin with a look at the significance of food photography in advertising, cookbooks, and culinary blogging. Through demonstrations, you’ll be immersed in the fundamentals of photography.
Chef Sandra Mehta will prepare delectable dishes for you to photograph during each session. The series culminates with a final feast-and-capture session, blending the pleasures of dining with the art of photography, and an optional opportunity to showcase your work during our final class.
