About

Please note: This 2/19 is the second session of a earlier class (originally on the 13th) that was postponed due to the weather for students to do make-up time.

This class is designed for the curious new metal artist or someone looking for a fun and easy project. Beginning and all levels of experience welcome. Youth are welcome, ages 14 and up.

The class will start you off with introductory metal and tool information and instruction. By the end of the class you will leave with a finished customized pendant, charm or key chain hand made entirely by you!

There is an additional $15 material fee that covers the costs of the first project.

Students may purchase additional metals and sterling silver during class for additional projects.

If you are registering you and your child to do this project together, please register you and your child separately.

Beginner to all levels of experience welcome. Ages 14 and up.

Students may purchase additional metals and sterling silver during class for additional projects.

Instructor Bio:

Sarah Jones is a local Bainbridge Island artist and jeweler. With a background in ceramics and sculpting, Sarah started her journey into metal arts with studio lead Jane Martin back at Yeolmalt Cabin. She enjoys teaching beginners and youth because witnessing people have that “aha” moment never gets old. And introducing youth to hands on trade skills and opportunities is priceless.

Sarah Jones is also a studio monitor and on the BARN Jewelry/Fine Metal Arts steering committee

Sarah sells her art to private collectors and her work can be viewed on Instagram @SarahJonesJewelry.
