How many times have asked yourself: “Where is that photo of..?” Is it on my iPhone, iPad, Mac, in the iCloud or everywhere (or nowhere!). Our photo tools are both seductively simple and also hampered by undue complexity / mystery.

This class will give you a variety of methods to organize your photo library, making and finding images a snap! In addition, you will learn how to get the most from you smartphone camera and options for “publishing” a set of photos for sharing with your friends and family via a book, slideshow and video movie.

Images you capture with your iPhone can migrate to your iCloud and Mac with the proper setup. A phone is NOT a great place for long term storage for your photos and the size of each image adds up to fill your available storage space. Backup is critical so that you will never lose your prized images.

Winter is here. Armed with a new understanding of your photo library, you can make your photo collection a joy to share, instead of another challenge to deal with.

Instructor Bio:

Ken Rothmuller has been shooting images since getting his first camera as a teenager. Later in life he had both a B/W and color darkroom before switching over to a digital workflow. More recently he has had the opportunity to study under some great mentors, including: Jay Maisel, Joel Meyerowitz, Eddie Soloway, and Margo Davis.

Adobe purchased Ken’s digital asset management company (Fotiva / PhotoTablet) back in 2001. While working at Adobe as a senior computer scientist, he help shepherd and promote the initial, internal Lightroom development efforts as an important alternative to Photoshop for Photographers (and mere mortals).

Ken especially enjoys traveling with his camera allowing him to see new places more deeply, cementing memories and giving him the opportunity to interact with locals.
