During this class you will learn and practice basic soldering skills, learn soldering techniques, and jewelry craftsmanship through demos and exercises that are designed to introduce skills, increase your knowledge about chain and linked construction, as well as, give you tips and tools that will make soldering simple with a variety of solders.

The focus of the class will be on ancient easy and affordable chain. Chain varieties will include making jump-rings, Egyptian spirals, wobble and crazy links!

All skill levels welcome. 

Brass and copper wire are provided. Please either bring your own sterling silver wire or buy from BARN.

The teacher requests: A wide variety of shapes and gauges of wire are available and are great to add to your visual vocabulary for designs! 16-26 gauge round and square sterling silver, fine silver, & copper can be helpful to create some great designs. You can use heavier gauge wires for a bulkier look or finer wires for delicate connecting links.  

Class tuition: 
Included in fee ( $53 + $12 materials = $65 member)
( $63 + $ 12 = $75 non member)
