About

Open Studio in BARN’s fully-equipped Jewelry and Fine Metals Studio provides members and guests a collaborative environment to pursue self-directed work, whether it’s to finish projects from classes or to work on independent projects. BARN provides tools and basic shop supplies.

A trained safety monitor is always on duty. However, Open Studio is not like a class where instruction can be given.

Skills Card

A Skills Card is required for all Open Studio participants. A Skills Card identifies the tools and equipment that you have been cleared to work on. You can acquire a Skills Card by attending one of these BARN classes: Introduction to Jewelry Skills, Introduction to the Jeweler's Torch, Introduction to Lapidary, Introduction to Enameling and others. Jewelers with previous experience can request a skills assessment by emailing jewelry.programming@bainbridgebarn.org

Details

  • Members free; non-members $20.
