Tip and tricks to make silver soldering successful will be shown all day.  Come learn how to join two or more pieces of copper, sterling silver and brass together to make jewelry and other objects. Start from the beginning or bring your soldering troubles and we will solve them. Through demos and hand-ons exercises, soldering will be simplified and made possible.

All levels are welcome. 

An additional materials fee of $10 will be added to the class price when you register.

Please feel free to bring a bag lunch. BARN has a refrigerator to store your lunch.

Instructor: Jane Martin has taught jewelry making at Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle, for the Seattle Metals Guild, and the Bainbridge Island Parks Department. She is a founder of BARN and teachers in the Jewelry Department. She has been making jewelry since she was in high school and has a BFA from University of the Arts, Philadelphia. Her jewelry is shown at Facere Jewelry Art Gallery in Seattle.
