Has it been a while since you’ve worked on an inlay project? If you’ve taken an inlay class at BARN and want to reconnect with the process, refresh your skills, or finally finish a project that’s been sitting on your bench, this refresher session is for you.

Bring your unfinished inlay projects, materials, and questions. Your instructor will be available to help troubleshoot, review techniques, and guide you through the next steps. You’ll have access to all studio equipment, torches, and lapidary equipment, giving you the opportunity to work through both the fabrication and stone-cutting sides of your project.

Spots are limited to keep the session small and allow for plenty of one-on-one guidance.

Details

We'll take a 30-minute lunch break if you want to bring food or snacks. BARN has a refrigerator and microwave on the lower level. There are no close-by restaurants.

Materials

Bring any unfinished inlay projects or new ones to work on.

Prerequisites

You must have completed the Lapidary Series: Inlay Pendant or Ring class at BARN or an equivalent class elsewhere.

Class Policies

• Ages 14 and up are welcome.

• Wear closed-toe shoes and natural-fiber clothing.

• Do not wear loose or synthetic-fiber clothing, scarves, or ties.

• Do not wear dangling jewelry, such as necklaces and bracelets.

• Tie back beards. Tie back long hair in a bun.
