Making a cutting board is a fun and rewarding way to get to know BARN’s woodworking tools and basic woodworking techniques.  In this class, you will design a custom cutting board and then use the table saw, miter (chop) saw, planer, disc sander, table router, and hand sanders to shape and finish the board. At the end of day 2, you will go home with a beautiful cutting board ready for years of use.

• A $15 materials fee will be collected when you register and pay online. If you pay by check, please include that in the class fee.
  

• Like other introductory classes at BARN, this class is designed to help you learn to use these tools safely and independently. No experience is necessary, but before the class, students should review the safety information videos, for the tools that will be used in this class, before the first class session.  The videos may be found at:

INSTRUCTOR: Joshua Haza - Josh has been building furniture for his home and doing home renovations for a few decades now.  He also likes to build physics equipment for his high school physics classes.
