Lamp shades can add a great deal of style to a room design. Learn how to make your own simple drum shade from beginning to completion in two easy sessions. This class is suitable for beginners. 

If you have fabric you would like to use, please bring that along. Also bring scissors, a measuring tape, white craft glue and a rag or cloth for wiping your hands. The instructor will provide styrene and wire frames for the drum shade.

INSTRUCTOR: Marcy Lynn has been and artist for most of her life and spent time over the past ten years working as a home stager and home re-designer. When the opportunity arose to begin creating lampshades for clients, she happily said yes. She has worked on a variety of styles: Victorian Sugar Shades, umbrellas shades, and the familiar drum shade. Creating fabric designs to cover her own lampshades has also become a passion.
