This is a Metal Arts Welding Assisted  Studio for members and non-members to work on personal projects. Assisted studios are for those that have had MIG 1, 2, or 3 OR previous welding experience. A monitor will be available to assist participants with proper use of the equipment, welding techniques, and fabrication.  Participants may practice their welding skills or pursue their projects and are encouraged to bring their own project materials.  There will be a safety refresher. Please contact Henry Sharpe at the email below if you have questions.

A safety monitor will be present.  (The monitor has discretion regarding ill-advised projects.)

A materials fee of $15 for 5 pounds of steel (donation is suggested for steel in excess of 5#), filler wire, and consumables, is required due to limited work stations and will be added to the class price when you register.

BARN will provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Participants must wear natural fiber clothing, closed toe shoes, no stretch fabrics.  Dress warmly, the studio may be cold.

If only one student has registered 48 hours before the open studio time, the studio will be cancelled.
