Translucent Wonder! Come and explore the beauty of glass overlay technique. Create shifting colors and patterns using an opalescent base layer with transparent tinted glass overlay to create an 8" glass dish. You will learn how transparent glass can be layered to achieve a rich and satisfying pattern.
Class is available for the beginner or experienced glass artist who wants to create a beautiful functional piece to take home. This class will also serve as a reference guide for mixing glass colors for future projects.
This class has a limit of 4 registrants so the instructor can give more one-on-one attention to your project.
Details:
- This is a beginning level class. No experience in working with glass is necessary.
- There is a $138 materials fee to cover Bullseye Tinted glass and kiln paper.
- We request that students wear cotton or other natural fiber clothing. Closed-toe shoes are required.

"My passion since early adulthood has been glass, which was quickly laid to rest as a mother and a budding horticulturist with a nursery. However, 36 glorious years later, I was introduced to fused glass and fell in love with the process, beautiful selections of glass and the endless projects that one can do at home.
There is an explosion of new glass, materials and information on glass fusing. The sky is the limit. I love being in a class with other enthusiasts to exchange ideas and the comradery that comes naturally from being at BARN."
