Tim Celeski is working with Jeanne on this class.

Students will make a replica of a mirror from the Craftsman-era Blacker House in Pasadena, California. The class will start on Friday evening and continue on Saturday and Sunday mornings, with some independent student work during the open studio time on Saturday to ensure that everyone has the parts shaped and glued up by the end of that day.   Open to students who have completed Tools 1 & 2 and have some experience with chisels and hand planes.

Class will include using band saw, mortising machine, Domino cutter, router table, plus hand tool work.

Tim makes these mirrors and sell them for $800. He also often gives them as wedding presents. This is the only replica project he ever does. He wrote an article about this for Popular Woodworking magazine, probably for the June 2018 issue.
