Join us for a tasty tour of one of instructor Christopher’s favorite wine-producing regions: Oregon's Northern Willamette Valley. Learn about the region's geography and climate, farming and winemaking, current trends, and why pinot noir is king of this valley. We'll taste through eight wines as we explore this beautiful place.

Details

A $20 materials fee, included in the cost of the class, covers everything needed for the class.

Class Policies

  • Ages 21 and older with valid ID are welcome.
  • Please wear closed-toe shoes.
  • You must be registered (no drop-ins).
Instructor
Christopher Gronbeck

Christopher is founder and former owner of The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar in Seattle. He has a long history as an educator in the science and environment fields, and has taught wine and spirits and cocktails classes for more than 15 years. He serves as a judge at numerous wine and spirits competitions. Christopher loves everything about BARN and is active in the Kitchen Arts Studio as well as in Woodworking and Print & Book Arts.
