About

France's Southern Rhône Valley is home to incredibly diverse wines that are expressive, authentic, and affordable. These wines include everything from easy-drinking table wines to premium offerings from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, and Vacqueyras. You'll sample whites, rosés, and reds as you learn about the fascinating history of one of France's most important wine regions.

A $25 materials fee, included in the class cost, covers everything you'll need.

Class Policies

  • Age 21 and older are welcome.
  • Light snacks will be served but arriving with an empty stomach is not recommended.
Instructor
Christopher Gronbeck

Christopher is founder and former owner of The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar in Seattle. He has a long history as an educator in the science and environment fields, and has taught wine and spirits and cocktails classes for more than 15 years. He serves as a judge at numerous wine and spirits competitions. Christopher loves everything about BARN and is active in the Kitchen Arts Studio as well as in Woodworking and Print & Book Arts.
