Worked seamlessly from the top down, the Sea Glass Sweater is a great pattern option for using up all of those tiny scraps of yarn you have been saving! This long-sleeved, relaxed-fit sweater is knit in DK weight yarn, using a simple 1x1 colorwork method. With inclusive sizing, tons of tutorials and advice included with the pattern, and no ends to weave in, this is an easy project even for beginning colorwork knitters.

• Skill Level: All Levels

• Knitters should be comfortable casting on and off, knitting and purling, and increasing and decreasing. If you aren’t comfortable with colorwork or need a reminder of a technique, come ask us for help during the Knit Along, or at one of our knitting circles!
• Free to members, guests pay a $10 drop-in fee for each session.

Details

Student should bring:

• Copy of the Sea Glass pattern (purchase from Ravelry or woolandpine.com)
• Whatever scrap yarn you have lying around - if you have extra, please consider bringing it to share with other knitters (advice for using weights other than DK can be found in the pattern)
• Don’t have any scrap yarn? No problem! There will be plenty of scraps to go around! 
• Size 5 and 7 needles (or size needed to achieve gauge).
