Form a rectangular metal container suitable for a box, loaf pan or a planter in this introductory sheet metal class.

You will learn to cut and bend sheet metal using a jump shear and a brake.   

No prior sheet metal experience is required, although it will be helpful to have taken the free Sheet Metal Safety Class. This class will include a safety briefing.

Details:

• There will be an additional materials fee of $10 for sheet metal will be added to your total when you register for class.
  
• There is a class size limitation of 4 students. This is for safety so the instructor can focus on and help students. The minimum class size is two.  If only one student has registered 48 hours before the studio, the class will be cancelled.
  
• Participants must wear natural fiber clothing, long pants, closed toe shoes (natural fiber or leather), no stretch fabrics, and long hair tied back. Dress warmly, the studio may be cold.
  

Instructor:  Chris Stanley: Model Maker, Educator, Artist. Chris spent the last 18 years teaching it all in the industrial design program at The Art Institute of Seattle.
