About

Spool knit fine silver wire into a hollow bracelet using a wooden spool and a steel crochet hook. Then choose from a selection of pearls to fill your bracelet and add color and charm. Learn to make two linked chain patterns: Open Maille becomes a trendy sterling silver pendant with a coin pearl (many to choose from) in the center, and Japanese Maille earrings in sterling silver and colored niobium. Simple fastening mechanisms and findings, including ear wires, are taught so that each student may finish 3 pieces of jewelry. The images show the three actual class projects. You'll get to choose the color of your niobium rings, as well as choosing your various pearl colors.
Please bring reading glasses if you need help to see clearly within 8"-10" of your nose.
Materials fee: $90 payable in first class by cash or check.

We are happy this class will happen in the new jewelry/metals studios at BARN. Please bring (if you have) your pliers (marked for identification). Bring lunch or buy nearby.

Please contact Jane Martin at janemartin4569@gmail.com with any questions.
