Special note: This year's Spring Sampler has been canceled, due to the Corona Virus, and an abundance of concern about the well-being of BARN guests and volunteers.

Enjoy an afternoon of creative hands-on activities in BARN's 10 artisan studios.  It's free, and open to all ages.

Here are some of the activities the studios are planning for this very special day:

• Fiber Arts - Weaving on two different kinds of looms. Demonstrations of knitting, crochet and spinning.
• Glass Arts - Add tiles to mosaics that will become stepping stones at BARN.
• Jewelry & Fine Metals - Stamp letters into metal
• Kitchen Arts - Make butter by hand, and spread it on fresh-baked cornbread!
• Metal Fabrication - Make a tray our of sheet metal.
• Print & Book Arts - Make block prints
• Woodworking - See what you can create with a woodturning lathe, wood burning tool, and a scroll saw. 
• Writers - Blackout poetry - create visual poetry by taking a blackout marker to existing text (think newspapers or magazine pages). What you don't black out becomes your poem.
