Create a statement ring or pendant using epoxy clay and raw crystals. This easy technique pairs molding and sculpting with raw stones to create dynamic organic rings and pendants that are bound to knock your socks off. Get the same look as Precious Metal Clay (PMC) without the kiln work. 


Details:

Age Level: Youth Class, Ages 14-17.

  • No jewelry experience needed for this class.
  • Please complete and return this fill-able PDF minor permission form.
  • Tuition assistance is available. Click here to apply.  
  • $20 materials fee is included in the tuition price.
  • BARN reserves the right to cancel this class in the case of low enrollment and will notify families of this decision one week prior to the start of the class.  A full refund will be given. 
  • You can bring your own crystals if you have some you want to turn into jewelry.


Instructor: Samantha Slater, originally from South Africa, Samantha's life in Seattle has drawn her toward the concepts and process of jewelry making. She taught classes at Fusion Beads for over 10 years, she has also guest lectured at Pratt Fine Arts Center and is currently teaching at  Barn, NW Rockhounds, Seattle Findings, and Schack Art Center, as well as privately at her studio in Seattle. It is her desire to not only create beautiful art and jewelry but share her knowledge so others can do the same.
