For youth ages 13 - 18

Come rock the Book Arts/Letterpress studio print shop and learn useful design skills. Letterpress for Teens is a 4 session workshop (Monday through Thursday) workshop that provides a unique hands-on learning experience to high school students (minimum age 13). This is a great opportunity to work on your own ideas, get practical and design guidance, and put your work out on the street to be seen by the community. Learn the power of visual persuasion and the basics of letterpress in this fun week of printmaking at the BARN.

Mary Jeanne Linford has been a professional book artist for over 40 years.  Under the press name Bad Girl Press. she specializes in popup books. Her work can be seen in the book arts room at BIMA, as well as online on YouTube.
