About

Try out different art media every day of camp —  printing ink, watercolor, different drawing materials, and even nature itself! Each three-hour session will give you plenty of time to gather, play, experiment, and create with natural plants and flowers as well as to be inspired by the wonderful landscape around you.

Activities include:

  • Plant printing
  • Nature collages
  • Drawing with sticks and ink
  • Landscapes in paint and paper
  •  ... and much more!
There's no need to know how to draw. Artist and educator Dana Harris Seeger, your instructor, will guide you through each project appropriate for a variety of skill and age levels. You can just come prepared to be outside, get a little messy, and have fun creating!

Instructor
Dana Seeger

Dana Harris Seeger was born in San Francisco and split her childhood between California and Indiana. She pursued her passion in high school and college and received a bachelor's degree in painting from Anderson University in Indiana in 2004 and a master's in fine arts in printmaking from San Jose State University in 2011. She is a member of the California Society of Printmakers. In 2014, Dana co-created an art studio and school in San Jose, Calif., called the School of Visual Philosophy. Her work in printmaking and painting helps her connect real to imagined memories and her life experiences to her heritage. Growing up as a second-generation Baltic American, she has always tried to connect the artifacts acquired from Estonia and Latvia into her own story. She lives in Poulsbo with her husband (a sculptor), daughter, and twin sons. Visit her website at www.danaharrisseeger.com
