About
A fantastic way to spend a Friday evening! Start with a pizza dinner and some time to socialize. Next, head to your chosen activity in the studio (make sure to choose the activity you want to do the most!). Once you're finished with the activity, come hang out in The Commons again for dessert while you show off what you made.

Project
This month's projects:
Culinary Arts: Grain Bowls for Helpline House
Cook and package up Chipotle-style grain bowls for the Helpline House food bank and Fishline. Take some home for yourself, as well!
Drawing & Painting: Comic Characters
Using well-known comic strips as reference, you'll learn and practice drawing skills like sketching, proportions, and color, while learning a little about the artists behind the characters.
Fiber Arts: Kumihimo Friendship Braiding
Learn the Japanese art of Kumihimo braiding. Once used for clothing and samurai armor, it's an intricate way to make beautiful bracelets, as well.
Glass Arts: Glass Hearts for Seattle Children’s Hospital
In this special community service project, we'll make glass hearts for patients, families, and staff at Seattle Children's Hospital. Make something beautiful to give hope to someone going through a difficult time.
Media Arts: Teen Improv
Play improv games where we work together to make up scenes on the spot from random suggestions. You'll spend the evening laughing and discovering that it can be fun getting up in front of an audience of your peers.
Woodworking: Bridge Building - Structural Engineering
Learn structure basics by building a bridge section. Test and crush it under weights.
Casual Crafts
Create with seven different craft options. Spend your time perfecting one, sample a few, or try your hand at all seven. You're welcome to bring your own project to work on as well.
