About

For our final Teen Night of the school year, teens in grades 9 - 12 are invited to come to BARN for an in-person, outdoor evening of craft and connection!

Bring a friend or come on your own and meet new friends.  When you arrive you will get to choose from the following activities, set up under canopies behind the BARN building:

  • Kumihimo woven bracelet with BARN Fiber Arts Instructors
  • Paper Cranes & other origami projects with teen Ayla Greenstein.
  • A collaborative visual art project in celebration of Pride Month - final piece to be displayed at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art in late June - with BIMA educators Emma and Anika
  • Paper Lanterns with members of the Boys & Girls Club Keystone Club
  • Open-ended art-making/crafting with painting, coloring & paper arts.

Note: we are also offering an online teen event on the same evening from 8-10pm featuring Minecraft gaming for those who want to participate in an activity from home!  Click here to get more info and register to receive the Zoom link.

  • No pre-registration is required for the in-person event, although all students will need to sign in upon arrival.
  • Masks will be required, and hand sanitizing.  In case of rain, some activities may be moved indoors.  Restrooms will also be available indoors.
  • Questions: contact Jess Henderson at BARN at 206-842-4475 x221 or email: JessH@bainbridgebarn.org

Teen Nights are generously funded by a grant from the City of Bainbridge Island.  BARN is pleased to partner with Bainbridge Island Museum of Art, Boys & Girls Club of Bainbridge Island, and Bainbridge Youth Services for this event.
