You’ll explore:

• Choosing colors that make your cane pop.

• Controlling the diameter and length of your twist.
• Applying twisted cane beautifully to beads of any size.

• And, of course, answering the question Heather hears most often: “How do I make the ends of the twists match?”

There’s a lot packed into this class! Heather loves to sneak in those little tips, tricks, and technique refreshers that can make all the difference at the torch. Alongside the more advanced twisted cane techniques, she’ll revisit the basic building blocks of beadmaking, helping you fine-tune your skills while adding new ones to your toolbox.

You’ll leave with new ideas, refreshed skills, and plenty of twisted cane inspiration to keep you turning, pulling, and experimenting long after class is over.

• Skill level: Intermediate. Designed for those with a solid foundation of torchworking skills.
• This workshop is part of Handwork 2027 at BARN.

• A $170 materials fee, included in your registration, covers all the glass you'll need.
