Immerse yourself in the essence of the Pacific Northwest and learn about the art of perfumery. Craft your own island-inspired scent using carefully curated accords (an accord is a combination of multiple fragrance notes — a floral accord, for example).

This class is intended to express appreciation for volunteers, the heart of BARN, whose work and commitment keeps the place running whether they're volunteering in a studio, as instructors, on the grounds and gardens, for youth programs, or visitor services. Volunteer opportunities change all the time so be sure to check them out!

A $20 materials fee is the cost of the class and covers everything you'll need.

• Class will be held outside under cover, so dress appropriately.
