Are you ready for a new weaving project but not quite sure where to start? Bring your ideas and BARN weavers will be available to talk with you about your next steps. We can talk you through pattern selection, fiber choice, and warping steps. You might consider planning a project for Spring Weaving Weekend, coming up in April.

The Fiber Studio’s weaving labs are facilitated workshops of one to one-and-a-half hours long focused on a particular topic, technique, or idea for weavers of all types of looms.

These workshops are held during Better Together: Weaving Wednesdays, so you are welcome to bring a weaving project to work on, too. 

Details

  • Free for members. Guests pay a $20 drop-in fee.
  • Bring any fiber or ideas to start your plan.

Class Policies

Ages 14 and up are welcome.

Alex McKeon believes creativity is inherent in us all and brings creativity and enthusiasm to the Fiber Studio. She loves helping students tap into their inner artist and learn more about themselves in the process. Whether at the loom or exploring with needle and thread, Alex inspires all who work with her.
