About

What really is a weed? Is it just a plant living its best plant life in the wrong place? Let's weave with weeds and make something special out of those overachieving, out-of-place plants.

Bindweed, yellow flag iris, dandelions, and non-native cattails — the more weeds the merrier. Some plants are overachievers and find themselves on our list of “weeds” or “invasives.” They sprout from cracks, send seeds far and wide, and bully our native plants. Who invited them anyway?  The bottom line is that they’re here, so let’s make the most of them and weave a basket!

Details
